Life Have you ever noticed how fast time flies the older you get?! I still feel a bit out of step when I think that it has been 20+ years since high school! At any rate, it has been a long journey from there to here. Yes, I still live in Oklahoma. I am still pretty much the same: still love Fleetwood Mac, but have branched out to listening to other music (can't deal with rap). After high school I had married (lasted one year), went to college (received my Masters in Education/Community Counseling), got married, worked in the counseling field, and then started a family. Starting a family was harder than taking GRE's AND a comprehensive together. We suffered a few setbacks, lost three babies, and had to go through IVF. We were then blessed with our son, who is now 8. Then we "tried" on our own and were blessed with our daughter. She is 7 going on 15. Yeah, I was 34 when I had my son. So, here I am muddling through second grade, first grade, Legos, and Barbies whereas many of my contemporaries are dealing with teen issues if not impending grandparenthood. I am a stay at home mom. I love it. It is demanding but the rewards far outweigh the demands. Life is grand. Wouldn't trade it for the world...Expand for more
